Meadowside and St. Francis

Meadowside & St. Francis is a nursing home providing care for up to 69 older people, with 60 residents at the time of inspection. The service maintains comprehensive policies and procedures to keep people, visitors and staff safe, with regular reviews and updates as guidance changes. Staff receive frequent training refreshers to ensure current practices.

When some people and staff previously tested positive for Covid-19, the service followed national guidance for self-isolation periods. The registered manager reflected on the outbreak experience, and people and staff were supported emotionally during and after this time. The home demonstrates commitment to both physical safety protocols and emotional wellbeing of those in its care.
