Meadow House Residential Home

Meadow House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 24 people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 20 people were resident in the home. The provider had implemented careful admission procedures, ensuring people tested negative for COVID-19 before discharge from hospital and supporting new admissions to isolate in their rooms for 14 days in line with guidance. For people receiving end-of-life care, the home had established visiting guidelines including appointments only, provision of personal protective equipment, and visits limited to one nominated person for 30 minutes. During the inspection period, visiting was restricted due to a COVID-19 outbreak, though the provider had previously facilitated garden visits with social distancing and alternative communication methods such as video calls remained available for relatives.
