About Meadow Grange

Meadow Grange is a residential care home in Derbyshire, offering accommodation without nursing for older people, including those living with dementia. The findings below set out what CQC inspectors observed during their most recent visit.

Meadow Grange is a residential home for older people, some living with dementia, providing accommodation for up to 53 people without nursing care. The CQC carried out a focused inspection after concerns were raised about staffing and medicine management, and found the service performing well overall, rated Good.

People told inspectors they felt safe and well supported, and that staff understood their individual needs. Some experienced waits for help at busy times, and there were mixed views on how well families were kept informed, though a new registered manager and recording system had recently been introduced.
