The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding a stable, well-supported staff team led by a competent registered manager, good teamwork and a positive culture that focused on people's individual needs and independence.

Inspectors did note some shortfalls: call bells and care needs were not always attended to promptly, particularly in the nursing area, and some infection control practices and unlocked storage of hazardous items needed attention. Despite this, residents and relatives spoken with were consistently happy, describing staff as kind, attentive and responsive to their wishes.
