About Maple Manor Care Home

Maple Manor Care Home brings nursing care to the Nottingham community, offering families a local option where their loved ones can feel genuinely at home. The team here understands how important it is to find a place that feels personal and caring, not just clinical. With roots in the local area, Maple Manor aims to be a familiar, friendly presence for residents and the families who visit them.

Maple Manor Care Home provides personal care to up to 16 people, including those with learning disabilities. At inspection, seven people were using the service. The home provided care in a safe environment, though improvements were needed to ensure consistent cleanliness and maintenance.

Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control in their lives, using the least restrictive approaches. People were supported to engage in meaningful activities and to travel where needed. Staff managed medicines in ways that promoted independence and good health outcomes.

However, some areas required attention. Care and support plans did not always fully reflect people's range of needs, and further work was necessary to help people personalise their rooms. While the provider had developed guidance for supporting people during periods of distress, staff did not always implement these plans consistently.
