Maple Manor Care Home

Maple Manor Care Home provides personal care to up to 16 people, including those with learning disabilities. At inspection, seven people were using the service. The home provided care in a safe environment, though improvements were needed to ensure consistent cleanliness and maintenance. Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control in their lives, using the least restrictive approaches. People were supported to engage in meaningful activities and to travel where needed. Staff managed medicines in ways that promoted independence and good health outcomes.

However, some areas required attention. Care and support plans did not always fully reflect people's range of needs, and further work was necessary to help people personalise their rooms. While the provider had developed guidance for supporting people during periods of distress, staff did not always implement these plans consistently.
