Manor Court

Manor Court provides residential personal care for older people, including those living with dementia, in a single adapted building. The service supports a maximum of 37 people, with 22 residents at the time of inspection. Each person has their own room with a kitchenette and en-suite bathroom. Residents told inspectors they felt safe because staff understood safeguarding responsibilities and knew how to report concerns. Risks were properly assessed, reviewed and managed, and staff followed infection control guidance with access to appropriate protective equipment.

Staff numbers were adequate to meet people's needs, and robust recruitment processes ensured suitability. Residents said staff were kind and caring, respecting their privacy and dignity while promoting independence. The service supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff working in the least restrictive way possible and in residents' best interests. The service regularly sought feedback from residents and relatives through surveys and meetings to understand their views on the quality of care delivered.
