The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding that previous breaches around safe care and governance had been resolved. Inspectors found kind, attentive staff, good food, effective risk management and thorough recruitment, with people and relatives speaking positively about the registered manager.

Some areas still needed attention. The CQC noted that cleanliness, the dementia friendliness of the environment, dining arrangements and information formats could be improved. Staff engagement between care tasks and the range of activities on offer were also inconsistent, and more frequent audits were recommended to sustain progress.
