About Lynton House

Lynton House is a residential care home in Nottingham, providing support for people with learning disabilities. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Lynton House supports three people with learning disabilities across one main building and an annex. During inspection, the home demonstrated good practice in managing COVID-19 safety. All visitors were screened for symptoms before entry, and the provider ensured vaccination requirements were understood and met.

Safety information was displayed prominently in formats accessible to people with varying communication needs. The service enabled residents to access the community whilst mitigating infection risks, including supporting one person who couldn't receive COVID-19 vaccination due to medical reasons to visit places during quieter times with reduced contact with others.
