Lynhales Hall Nursing Home

Lynhales Hall Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 73 people across two units: the main house for those aged 65 and over, and the John Sperry Unit, a ground floor extension specialising in dementia care. At inspection, 52 people were using the service, which supports younger and older adults with dementia, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments.

People felt safe and supported by staff, who demonstrated understanding of different types of abuse and reporting procedures. The registered manager understood their safeguarding responsibilities and had implemented measures to protect residents from harm. Care plans identified potential risks with appropriate mitigation strategies in place. Staffing levels were sufficient to keep people safe and meet their needs, and medicines were managed and stored safely.
