Lyndhurst House

Lyndhurst House provides accommodation and personal care for up to four adults with a learning disability and autistic people. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that people received person-centred support, were helped to pursue local activities and interests, and lived in personalised, well-kept surroundings. Staff knew people well and there were enough of them to meet needs safely.

Inspectors found some gaps, including risk assessments for epilepsy that lacked sufficient detail and care plans that did not fully cover people's ability to consent to care. Management took immediate action to address these. Safeguarding practice had improved since the previous inspection, and relatives spoke positively about the care provided.
