Cedar Bungalows

Cedar Bungalows provides personal care to up to four people in seven individual bungalows, supporting those with mental health, behavioural support needs, learning disabilities and autism who are transitioning from acute or secure services. At the time of inspection, two people were living at the service. Staff implemented robust safety measures to protect people's health and welfare, including COVID-19 precautions, and managed medicines safely, ensuring people received prescribed medications as intended.

A core team of staff who knew residents well provided compassionate care. Staff completed regular training to maintain best practice standards. Care planning involved people, their relatives and healthcare professionals, with assessments taking into account protected characteristics including sexuality, disability, religion and culture.
