Lyncroft

Lyncroft provides personal care and support to nine people with mental health needs, with capacity for 12 residents. Staff demonstrate strong knowledge of safeguarding and whistleblowing procedures, with people's risks carefully assessed and minimised through individualised plans. The service recruits safely and ensures staff receive training, supervision and appraisals to support their work effectively.

Care needs are assessed before admission to ensure appropriate support can be provided. Each person has a named care worker overseeing their care, and the service works jointly with healthcare professionals to support residents' health needs. Staff know people well and involve them in decisions about their care while promoting privacy, dignity and independence. Medicines are managed safely, and people's end of life care wishes are captured and respected.
