Hylands House Care Home

Hylands House accommodates up to 19 people who require personal and nursing care, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 17 residents were living at the home. The home had implemented comprehensive infection control measures, with prominent signage displaying hand washing techniques and correct procedures for putting on and removing Personal Protective Equipment. Visitor protocols included temperature checks, requests for negative lateral flow test results, and verification of COVID-19 vaccination status. All visitors were required to sign health declarations. Staff members were assigned to individual residents during isolation periods to provide one-to-one support and protect their well-being during this time.
