Longlast

Longlast is a residential care home for young adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, housed in an adapted and extended building designed to meet residents' needs. The service has implemented robust visiting procedures that give people and relatives flexible options for contact, including visits inside the home, use of a garden visiting pod, and visits in the community or relatives' homes. Staff maintain high compliance with testing protocols and have contingency plans in place to respond quickly when positive cases occur, with the environment strategically utilised to support residents' access to bedrooms, communal areas and gardens during these periods. Quality assurance measures support strong infection prevention and control practices throughout the service, with all staff trained and competent in infection control procedures and personal protective equipment use. The service maintains good stocks of PPE.
