Pennington Court

Pennington Court is a residential care home offering support across eight self-contained flats with a shared lounge and kitchen diner, for up to eight people with a learning disability, autism and/or an acquired brain injury. The CQC rated the service good overall, an improvement from its previous requires improvement rating.

Inspectors found people were kept safe, with enough suitably skilled staff and care that was person centred and regularly reviewed. Medicines were managed well, with any issues identified and corrected. Some minor concerns about the environment and monitoring of best practice were raised, but these were addressed promptly by the provider and manager, who led the service openly and honestly.
