While the building was designed to meet residents' needs, inspectors identified areas requiring renovation and upgrades, with recommendations for further enhancing dementia-friendly environments.

Staff had received training to recognise potential risks and signs of abuse, supporting the home's approach to safeguarding residents' safety and wellbeing.
