Lashbrook House Care Home

Lashbrook House is a purpose-built residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 46 people across two floors. At inspection, 31 people were living at the service on the ground floor. The home provides excellent opportunities and access to a variety of activities tailored to individual needs, with a committed and experienced staff team overseeing programmes designed to prevent social isolation. Staff have researched residents' past interests and worked to accommodate activities reflecting these preferences, helping people maintain relationships with those who matter to them.

The service takes an active role in the local community and has built strong local links that residents enjoy and benefit from. Staff focus on person-centred care, taking time to understand individual needs and using this knowledge to improve care and outcomes. Inspectors observed many examples of how people's quality of life and wellbeing had significantly improved through the home's approach to support.
