Lansglade House

Langslade House provides residential care for up to 31 older people with physical disabilities and those living with dementia, accommodated over ground and two upper floors with lounges, a dining room, and an accessible garden. At inspection, 25 people were using the service. People felt safe and received safe care, with staff demonstrating clear understanding of safeguarding procedures. Risk assessments were in place to manage risks in people's lives, and staff supported people to have maximum choice and control, using the least restrictive approaches in their best interests.

The service employed consistent, regular staff who knew people well and their needs. Staff had undergone robust recruitment with comprehensive employment checks in place. Staffing levels were sufficient to meet people's needs promptly. Medicines were stored and administered safely, with staff trained to support people effectively with their medication.
