The CQC assessed the service after concerns about risk management, medicines and frequent changes in management, and rated it Good overall. Inspectors found staff were kind, caring and knowledgeable about safeguarding, with a positive culture and evidence of continuous improvement.

However, some staff and relatives raised concerns about staffing levels affecting timely care, and inspectors found gaps in care records and two incidents that had not been reported as required. The provider gave assurances and made some improvements during the assessment. Relatives said frequent management changes had affected care but felt the interim arrangements were helping to resolve issues.
