The Laurel provides care and support for up to five people with learning disabilities across one of two semi-detached houses run by Optimal Living Ltd. The service maintains a clean environment with a regular cleaning schedule and additional measures to reduce infection risks, including frequent cleaning of touchpoint surfaces. Staff have received training on infection prevention and control, and regular audits take place with actions followed up when required.

Safe admission procedures are in place, including COVID-19 testing requirements. Professional visitors must provide proof of vaccination, negative lateral flow test results, and temperature checks, with hand sanitisation and personal protective equipment protocols observed throughout.
