Langfield Nursing and Residential Home

Langfield Nursing and Residential Home provides personal and nursing care to 33 people aged 60 and over, with capacity for up to 54 residents. The home demonstrated strong infection control practices, including correct use and disposal of personal protective equipment by staff, management and visitors. Robust procedures were in place to minimise transmission risk, with weekly staff testing and testing of residents at least every 28 days. Hand sanitiser and PPE were readily available throughout the home, supported by clear signage reminding people about hygiene practices. The provider had implemented comprehensive processes to protect residents, staff and visitors, and facilitated socially-distanced visits where appropriate.
