Langdale House provides accommodation and personal care, without nursing, for up to ten people with learning disabilities. The home has two buildings with communal lounges, a dining area and ensuite bedrooms, and offers a pleasant, homely environment where most people have consistent one-to-one staff support.

The CQC rated the service outstanding overall. Inspectors found staff exceptionally kind, attentive and skilled at supporting choice and independence, with strong involvement of families and communities. People said they felt safe and well cared for, and relatives had nothing but praise for staff.

Leadership was found to be open, collaborative and effective at managing risk.
