Lancaster Court

Lancaster Court is a care home providing accommodation, personal care and nursing care for up to 65 people, including older people and those with nursing needs. Shortfalls were identified in medicines management, risk assessments, and staff competency in moving and handling, with quality monitoring systems not always effective.

Inspectors found staff were kind, respected people's dignity and understood their communication needs, and the home was clean and well maintained. Most people spoke positively about their care, though some experienced loneliness. The registered manager was described as responsive to feedback where improvements were needed.
