Lancaster Court Residential Care Home

Staff numbers were adequate and appropriately qualified, with people reporting they felt safe and trusted the team. The home maintained rigorous recruitment procedures, thoroughly checking applicants' suitability before employment. Risk assessments were in place to protect residents and others from harm, with regular safety checks conducted on the environment and equipment.

The home had established processes to protect people from abuse, with staff trained to recognise signs and report concerns to relevant agencies. Safe infection prevention and control practices were followed throughout the service, including COVID-19 measures. Residents confirmed they received safe care and support from staff they felt confident in.
