Kitnocks House is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care to 63 people with complex support needs including dementia, mental health conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. The home has implemented a new electronic medicines administration and management system and maintains processes for safe storage, administration and use of medicines, though some storage recommendations were not consistently followed. Staff appeared unhurried and responsive to people's needs during inspection, with safe staffing levels observed throughout.
The provider acknowledged challenges in recruiting staff, and relatives gave mixed feedback about staffing levels.
