Kilmar House

Kilmar House is a care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 15 predominantly older people. At the time of the CQC's assessment, 13 people were living there. The visit was prompted by concerns raised about leadership, but inspectors found the service continued to meet expectations, remaining good overall and outstanding for caring.

People and relatives spoke highly of staff, describing them as kind, friendly and helpful. Staffing levels were consistently met, and managers welcomed feedback to improve people's experience. Inspectors observed staff supporting independence with compassion and responding promptly to requests for help.
