Kathleens Lodge Rest Home provides personal care to up to 20 people living with dementia and other health conditions in an adapted building. People told inspectors they felt safe and treated well, with one resident commenting, "We are like one big family here. We are treated well." Observations confirmed that people's overall experience of using the service was positive. However, while the home had quality assurance systems in place, these were not always effective in driving improvement across the service.
