Jubilee House Therapy Centre is a short-break facility providing personal and nursing care for people with injuries and life-limiting conditions. The service primarily supports current and former fire fighters and their relatives who are beneficiaries of the Fire Fighters Charity. During inspection, the service increased its registered capacity from four to six places.
People staying at the centre described their experience as "life changing" and "amazing," noting the service's success in helping them learn skills to manage their conditions while enjoying a fulfilling and sociable break. The facility offers a tailor-made range of activities and therapies specifically designed for each person, with staff described as exceptionally knowledgeable and committed to person-centred care. Residents reported having absolute faith in staff and said the service exceeded their expectations, particularly in helping them build confidence and independence to better manage their injuries and health conditions.
