Jansondean Care Home

Jansondean provides nursing care and accommodation for up to 28 older people, with 18 residents at the time of inspection. People felt safe at the service, supported by safeguarding policies that staff understood clearly. The home carried out appropriate recruitment checks before employing staff and maintained sufficient staffing levels to meet residents' care and support needs. Risk assessments were completed for individuals, with staff aware of measures to minimise identified risks.

Medicines were managed safely and the service had procedures in place to reduce infection risks, including COVID-19 prevention measures.
