Jacobs Neurological Centre

Jacobs Neurological Centre is a residential service supporting adults with complex neurological conditions and brain or spinal injuries, for up to 82 people. The CQC rated the home Good overall, maintaining its previous rating. Inspectors found people were treated as individuals, involved in decisions about their care, and supported by staff who understood their preferences and needs.

Risks to people's safety were well managed, with clear plans reviewed regularly and input from health and social care professionals. Staff were recruited safely, well trained and present in sufficient numbers. Leadership was open and responsive to feedback, with effective oversight of quality across the service.

People and relatives spoke positively about their experience.
