Ivy Dene

Ivy Dene provides accommodation and personal care for up to 20 people across a ten-bedroom house and two annexed five-bedroom areas. At inspection, 19 people were living at the home. The service participates in the government testing scheme, which helped identify an outbreak quickly. Staff worked closely with the local authority infection prevention and control team and other health professionals to manage the situation effectively.

The home maintained high cleanliness standards with regular cleaning regimes in place. Clear infection prevention signage was prominently displayed at entry points and throughout the home to remind residents and staff about infection control procedures.
