Hyne Town House

Hyne Town House provides accommodation for up to 45 people who need support with personal care, with 31 people living there at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the service as requiring improvement overall, finding continued breaches relating to safe premises, consent to care and treatment, and the provider's quality assurance and governance systems. Medicines management also needed improvement.

Inspectors found people felt safe and well cared for, with attentive, kind staff who knew them well. Care records had become more personalised, and people had good access to activities and healthcare. However, some care plans lacked detail, and records did not always show that people's consent had been properly sought.
