Howe Dell Manor

Howe Dell Manor is a converted manor house in Hatfield that accommodates up to 19 people living with mental health conditions. At inspection, 17 people were living at the service. Improvements have been made since the last inspection, with care plans now in place to minimise risks and governance systems used more robustly. People told inspectors they were happy with the care provided and felt safe living at the service.

Risk management has become more effective, though some areas of staff practice still needed to be embedded. Care records contained mostly sufficient detail, and the provider had plans in place to address remaining areas for improvement.
