Honister

Honister is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 19 people in one adapted building. At the time of inspection, 18 people were using the service.

The home has made significant improvements since the last inspection, with work completed to strengthen risk management and fire safety procedures. Governance systems are now being used more robustly, with good progress in embedding these practices. People and their relatives reported being happy with the care provided and felt safe living at the service. Infection control is well promoted, and medicines are managed effectively. Staff support people to have maximum choice and control over their lives.
