About The Minims (12 & 31)

The Minims is a residential care home in Hertfordshire, providing personal care across two bungalows to people with learning disabilities, some of whom also have mental health diagnoses. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

The Minims is a residential care home providing personal care to people with learning disabilities and some with mental health diagnoses. The service operates across two separate bungalows, each accommodating up to six people, with ten people currently living there. The home delivers planned and co-ordinated person-centred support designed to enable people to live meaningful lives with control, choice, and independence.

People told inspectors they liked living at the home and felt safe. Relatives reported they had no concerns about people's safety. Staff demonstrated knowledge of risks to people's health and welfare, and the measures in place to keep them safe were clearly identified and assessed.
