Home Meadow

Home Meadow accommodates up to 49 older people across two main units, one of which supports people living with dementia. At inspection, 46 people were resident at the service. Inspectors found that the provider's systems had not always identified where improvements were needed to keep people safe from infection risks, and made a recommendation to monitor processes more closely. People were at risk of dehydration due to ineffective daily reviews, and appropriate risk-reducing measures were not consistently included in care plans for people requiring diabetes support. No person came to harm from these concerns. The registered manager and provider responded positively during the inspection and undertook appropriate reviews of these issues.
