This rural care home provides accommodation and personal care to up to 17 older people in single room en-suite facilities. At inspection, 11 people were using the service.

Residents and their families reported feeling safe and trusting the staff. Staff had received training to recognise and report safeguarding concerns, and people's risks were regularly assessed, monitored and reviewed. Staff understood how to mitigate avoidable harm while respecting people's freedoms and choices. Medicines were managed safely, and infection prevention and control measures followed best practice. The home's recruitment processes included references and criminal record checks.
