Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home

Hillcrest Nursing Home accommodates up to 42 people aged over 65, many living with dementia. At inspection, 39 people lived at the home. Staff demonstrated safe infection control management and used alternative communication methods including picture cards and communication books to support residents.

The home was unable to meet requirements for the Winter Discharge Designation Settings scheme because the identified area was not self-contained and the provider would need to recruit additional staff to ensure residents in that area had access to a dedicated staff team.
