Highmead House

Highmead House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 32 people, including older and younger people, those living with dementia, and people with physical disabilities. At inspection, 29 people were using the service. Staff are trained to protect people from poor care and abuse, and people feel safe in their care. Individual care and support needs are comprehensively assessed and monitored, with detailed care plans guiding staff on how to manage risks. Staff understand each person's care needs and safely support people with their medicines.

The home has recently undergone improvements to its premises and infection prevention and control practices, creating a clean, hygienic environment that promotes residents' health, safety and wellbeing.
