Highgrove Care Home

Highgrove Care Home provides accommodation and care for up to 21 people, supporting older people and those living with dementia. At the time of the CQC's assessment, 15 people were living there. The service was assessed after concerns were raised about governance, and inspectors rated it Good overall.

Inspectors found staff were kind, caring and well trained, with enough of them on duty to meet people's needs, and relatives said they knew the registered manager and felt listened to. However, the CQC found some environmental health and safety risks had not always been identified, and quality checks had not been robust enough to catch these issues, though problems found were addressed immediately.
