Hemmet House

Hemmet House provides personal care to up to eight people with physical disabilities in one adapted building. The service maintains a safe environment with clean, hygienic premises and follows infection control practices to reduce infection risk. Staff are knowledgeable about safeguarding and managing identified safety risks. The provider conducts regular health and safety checks of the premises and equipment, and medicines are managed safely with staff ensuring people receive their prescribed medications as intended. Staffing levels are adequate to meet people's needs, and all staff undergo recruitment checks and criminal records screening. Staff receive training to support them in meeting the care needs of the people they support.
