Hayes Park Nursing Home

Hayes Park Nursing Home provides nursing care for up to 49 people, including some living with dementia. The CQC's rating has dropped from good to requires improvement, following breaches around infection prevention, environmental upkeep and governance. Inspectors found parts of the premises needed redecoration and cleaning improvements, and the provider's own audits had not picked up these issues.

Care itself was found to be largely positive, with kind staff, well-managed clinical needs and good support to access healthcare. However, care plans lacked person-centred detail, particularly around mental health needs, and staff would benefit from further dementia training. Residents and relatives spoke warmly of the care, though some raised concerns about bedroom conditions and food choice.
