Hawthorn House

Hawthorn House provides residential care for up to 29 people with learning disabilities, operating from two separate two-storey buildings. During inspection, 18 residents were living at the home. Staff encouraged people to make choices and supported their independence and participation within the local community. Residents were enabled to live as ordinary a life as any citizen, with the service actively promoting inclusion and choice in daily life. The home maintained the good rating from its previous inspection, with inspectors finding that positive practices continued throughout the service.
