Havengore House Residential Care Home

Havengore House provides nursing and personal care for up to 22 older people, including those living with dementia, in a single adapted building. At inspection, 19 people were using the service. People felt safe and were satisfied living there, with suitable safeguarding arrangements in place and staff understanding how to raise concerns. Staffing levels were appropriate to meet needs, and medication practices ensured people received medicines correctly with staff appropriately trained. The service maintained good infection prevention and control standards.

Care and support needs were well documented, with staff demonstrating good understanding of individual requirements. The home had learned from previous incidents and made improvements where needed. End of life care information was recorded, and the registered manager knew how to access local palliative care support when required.
