Hartland House is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 32 people aged 65 and over, with accommodation spread across two floors and several communal areas with accessible gardens. At inspection, 28 people were living at the home.

The home had implemented comprehensive safety measures for visitors, including temperature checks, risk assessments, and COVID-19 rapid lateral flow tests before entry. Visitors were able to spend time with residents in suitable safe spaces through arranged appointments or face-to-face meetings. Families were supported to spend time with people at the end of their lives in a safe and dignified manner.
