Harborne Lane Nursing Home is a purpose-built nursing home in Birmingham, caring for up to 68 older people, including those living with dementia, physical disabilities and sensory impairment. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, following concerns raised about how risks were managed.

Inspectors found breaches relating to safeguarding, safe care, consent and governance. People were not always protected from harm, medicines were not consistently managed safely, and records did not always reflect people's needs or involve them in decisions. Staff were described as kind, though some people felt calls for help were not answered promptly, and staffing at times felt stretched.
