This care home accommodates up to 50 people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia, across three separate wings with adapted facilities. The home features an onsite farm, pub and shop. At inspection, 48 people were receiving support. Staff are highly motivated and equipped with the right skills, working collaboratively with health professionals to promote wellbeing. The service adopts a person-centred approach, with staff ensuring people have choice and control over their care planning and delivery. The home places strong emphasis on nutrition, supporting people to eat and drink enough to maintain a healthy balanced diet. People participate in activities matched to their interests and preferences, and relatives spoke highly of the compassionate support provided around end of life care planning.
