Hanford Manor

Hanford Manor provides personal and nursing care for up to 31 people aged 65 and over across two floors. The home includes two lounges, a dining room with café area, a roof terrace and secure garden. At inspection, 30 residents were living there, with some living with dementia.

People felt safe and were protected from the risk of harm by staff who understood their responsibilities to identify and report signs of potential abuse. Any concerns were taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. However, the provider's quality assurance systems needed to be developed to ensure they were applied consistently and monitored all aspects of the service.
