About Halmer Court

Halmer Court is a residential care home in Lincolnshire. Details of the Care Quality Commission's most recent findings are set out below.

Halmer Court is a care home providing support for up to 66 adults, including people living with dementia or physical disabilities. At the time of the assessment, 35 people lived there. The CQC rated the home Requires Improvement overall, though previous breaches relating to safe care, safeguarding and governance had been addressed.

Inspectors found kind, respectful staff and good progress under new leadership, with improved morale and stronger community links. However, risk management, infection control, medicines oversight and staff supervision still needed strengthening, and care plans lacked personalisation. The CQC concluded that improvements needed more time to become fully embedded.
