About Hall Grange

Hall Grange is a residential care home in Croydon, providing accommodation and personal care for older people, including those living with dementia. The findings below set out what the CQC observed during its most recent inspection.

Hall Grange is a residential care home supporting up to 86 older people and those living with dementia, with 74 residents at the time of inspection. The service prioritises regular family contact, enabling visits in the communal garden and through window visits. People receiving end of life care and those with dementia struggling during lockdowns had a nominated Essential Family Carer allowed to visit inside the home, with staff ensuring visits were conducted safely.

When in-person visits weren't possible, staff facilitated contact through video and telephone calls, keeping relatives regularly updated on their loved ones' wellbeing.
